1977 Porsche 911s Sunroof Coupe For your consideration is this spectacular 911S Sunroof coupe. This 911 is in very excellent condition inside and out, the body and undercarriage are both super clean with not so much as a spot of rust, the interior is nearly flawless the suspension is tight and responsive and mechanically the car is superb...it is a magnificent vehicle all around. -Exterior- The body is in near perfect condition, This 911 was the beneficiary of a fairly recent high quality repaint as the old paint was becoming dull and tired. The new paint looks amazing, not to mention a mile deep. Everything in the car works 100% including all guages and accessories. This car spent most of it's life down in the southeastern U.S. so it is naturally a rust free car. -Interior- The interior is in very good condition, including the seats (fronts have been recently professionally reupholstered), carpets, headliner and door panels. The carpets are clean and there are no strange odors. -Engine & Transmission- This 911 was owned by a mechanic who specialized in Porsches, early 911s in particular, therefore every mechanical aspect of the car has been gone through. The engine is perfect, the 2.7 power plant was is perfectly tuned, runs strong, starts up on the first try each and every time. There is a very small oil leak (common to 911s, however it is not major...it leaves a couple of drops over the course of a few weeks) This 911 runs and idles as it should, with no problems. It is a great running little Porsche, and very well mainained. The standard upgrades have been addressed including replacement of the head studs and installation of “Carrera” hydraulic chain tensioners. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six. The ride in this 911 is great, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises, the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is over 34 years old!
