This Convertible has been off the road for over 30 years. The woman who owned it for the last 40+ years had some work done to it in recent years but gave up because of age and funding and sold it to me last year and its sat ever since. Body is 76A this is a factory candy apple red code T car with black interior. I didnt bother cleaning it but the interior has been covered. The seats are in very nice shape as you can see so that will save some cash. It had a modern one piece full floor installed in it, new inner rockers and center floor supports so there was a lot of new metal put in. The rear frame rail extensions were done at some point but not the full ones- just the ends along with the new trunk floors. The bad part of that work and the quarter panel patches that were put in arent what I would call professional and you can see where fiberglass and bondo was used to patch spots. The quarters and fenders look like they were patched up because you can tell there is bondo there but they didn't bother to do the wheelhouses when things were apart so in other words the car will need to be gone through and completed. The car is a full restoration project and needs to be gone through. The windshield is just sitting there and not fixed in, many of the parts aren't bolted on for finish use but things are on there good enough for transportation. The top is stock but the seats looks nice. The drivers side door latch wont latch so it would need to be tied shut for transport until you get it home and losen things up. it rolls ans steers fine. The box of parts you see is all the windshield chrome which is included. The door glass is in the doors and the quarter glass is included. I have the original pass door its just rusty so a more solid one was put on. Again- this car needs a full restoration, doesn't run and there are no brakes etc but its a very good start and the right car since its a factory red V8 car. ***** Please NOTE: The car comes with the automatic transmission but DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ENGINE. I will include the zero mile rebuilt 289 from the car that came with it when I go it only if the price goes over $4000. Again- no engine is included unless the price goes over $4000! I will put it in the car if the winning bid goes over $4000 and is paid for so it can be easily transported if the winning bidder wants me to. Sell to the contenental US Only.
