Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my for my newly aquired 1976 bmw 2002 coupe. I just bought this cool little car and planed to do a restoration on it for my wife to drive. I'm unable to do that now due to upcoming shoulder surgery. So this Bimmer came from CA and as far as I can tell lived there it's whole life. It's to old to do a car fax. The car runs very good as does the shifting. It just had a full tune-up and oil change as well as a new brake master cylinder and caliper/pads. The INKA ORANGE is a very sought after color and looks to be never painted but is faded and has some surface rust here and there. The air/cond. unit is all there and just needs a charge as far as we can tell but the inside cover is broken. Rust: There is really very little rust on this car.The worst is a 3" hole on the passenger side floor just above the body plug (see photo). The body plug is missing but is avaible aftermarket. It needs a carpet. Seats have been redone and are ok but have a few small puncture holes. All strut towers are rust free as is the trunk except there is a small puncture in the spare tire well. It needs to be hammered flat and welded (easy repair). As you can see it is a project car but you can drive it and enjoy it as you work on it. These little bimmers bring high dollars when restored correctly. *** Please note **** The car is listed for sale locally and I have the right to end this auction at any time for any reason. This is also a no return no warranty auction.I will down load more photos later today. Thanks for looking but please don't bid unless you have the funds to complete the sale. On Nov-22-11 at 14:44:23 PST, seller added the following information: **** NOTE **** I had a body man check out the small rust hole in the passenger side floor today and it can be repaired for $75.00 but you would still have to buy the body plug through the aftermarket catalogs for around $27.00 plus shipping. If the winning bidder would like this repair done it would be a extra $75.00 charge added to the final price of the car. I tried to get some more photos of the interior today but my camera acted up so I will try again tomorrow. On Nov-23-11 at 11:05:46 PST, seller added the following information: *** New Photos *** I took as many photos as I could before my camera died agan. Photos of the spare tire well / seats / door panels etc.
