1999 Ford Windstar SE - Van - 283,030Miles - Silver - New A/C - Bad Transmission Vehicle Description and Condition: We are selling our 1999 Ford Windstar SE. Before you consider buying we will try to cover everything that is both Pro and Con with this particular vehicle. First of the Transmission DOES NOT works. It gave out one day on our way home from work, so we want to get rid of it. It has a 3.8L V6, with 283,030.5 miles on the odometer (see photo). Cloth interior that is somewhat clean. This van has been very well maintained. PROS: 1. It has a completely brand new A/C Unit in it that. 2. It has (4) Brand New Oxygen Sensors. 3. It just had the transmission fluid, pan, and filter changed. (We thought that was the problem.) 4. 250,000 of the 283,030 miles on it are Highway miles. 5. (2) of the tires are practically brand new, (1) is between 65% - 75%, and the last is about 30% - 40%, that is the one we have the photo of. 6. All seats are removable for more storage. 7. It comes with a tow package. 8. Radio works fine. 9. All the foot carpets are the originals and remove for easy cleaning. 10. It is a TWO SLIDING DOOR van and both doors work perfectly, in fact there is not a problem with any of the doors opening or closing. 11. Everything is power. (Doors and Locks) Cons: 1. Transmission is bad. 2. It has an idle problem, best described, it accelerates and slows down fine (runs strong) but when it idles it putt, putts in and out. 3. It has a fog light cover gone, the light is still there and works, we have never bother to replace it. 4. It does have some cosmetic damage inside and out which you can see on the photos. 5. The latch on the far back driver side window pops of sometimes so makes it hard to open by power. 6. Driver side door lock doesn't always unlock, when you use power to unlock it. That is about it, but if we forgot anything PLEASE do not hesitate to call. We WILL be honest and real with you, we want to get rid of the van but do not want anybody to feel cheated either.
