1985 Mercedes 300TD turbo diesel wagon . 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous and practical wagons of the 123 series . It was the last year with the bullet proof 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine , which is known to go for a million miles with the right maintenance . There are several Mercedes diesel of E bay right now with over 500k miles and still running well . It was a rare and expensive option in 1985 .The car is from down south, has only been in NY for 2 years. Solid car with very little rust. It has the following issues: AC does not work, The interior is showing it age, Drivers seat bottom is cracked and split, A few interior trim pannels are missing, Rear wiper doesnt work, Rear windows need new regulators, Ac doesnt work, The car was parked under pine trees so there is a bunch of tree sap on top, Has some oil and coolant leaks. Hard to start when its below 25 dgrees. Transmission shifts hard. Left turn signal blinks fast, Ac doesnt work. Car is sold AS-IS no warranty no guaranty.
