I own/ owned four Honda Helixs. I just sold my 2007 with only 500 miles on it. I plan to sell two more, this 1999 and the other one listed. (1994) You may ask, why does this guy own four Helixs, the answer is simple: I love these bikes! The story is, my wife and I were going to purchase a second home in Florida, we decided to put that off. So, two were to go there. The other issue is my wife was to get her motorcycle license, she opted not to. I don't mind riding her on the back, I ride a Harley Road King as well so I'm used to it. This isn't just any scooter, you don't have to be ashamed riding one of these. People stop me all the time and ask me about it. I can't say enough about them. I will hang on to my other 1996, due to it's rare color. (Black) After all, what's to say bad about a bike that rides like a dream dueto its long wheel base, excellent braking and supreme cornering. You don't find yourself afraid to take a corner, even with a passenger on the back. The trunk is huge, it is highway legal, (80 MPH) and gets unreal mileage. (70 MPG+) The comfort level is like sitting on your most comfortable chair. About this Helix, it is now the newest one I own with the least amount of miles on it. Although it has a few scratches, I have included some custom made touch up paint. (see photos) I've never used it, haven't had time. The bike has all the original tools and manual, runs like new, stops like new and handles like new. Why? The tires and brakes are NEW! See photos with red stripe under the tire facing the road surface. I also had the carb rebuilt and the bike starts with the first touch of the button. I have put xero miles on it since it retured from the Honda Dealer. It is fresh and ready to go. It comes with a driver's back rest, and a pasenger's back rest. (Both uninstalled, see photos) It also comes with new cover that fits in a little bag in the trunk as well. I will ship in enclosed trailer in NH, southern VT, CT , Mass, RI and Westchester county NY for $200. My 2007 Helix just sold for $5000 on E-Bay. (Item # 2807701003030 They sold for over $7000 new The Helix has been made since the 80's ending production of this great bike in 07. They are all the same design and available with many many options. In my opionion, Honda has yet to come up with a better 250 scooter. Happy Bidding!
