Up for bid is my 1978 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. It runs fine but needs a tune up. Smog parts not reinstalled yet but I have all the parts. I've been working on all items that were not working like interior lights, small items. I rebuilt the heater box and rear heater and had the cores cleaned and repaired if necessary. The body has the usual rust in the back and the fender wells need replaced if you want to drive it for the winter. The frames is OK up to the rear bumper and the supports in that area need replaced. Feel free to come look at it if you are close enough. It will need a rear brake line. I have spare drums, wheel cylinders, small lines, and shoes with 500 miles on them but I did not install them yet. Rear ambulance doors have rust as well at the bottom but they function. Windshield frame has some repairs needed as well. THe gas tank developed a small leak but I will have it repaired for the new owner. This vehicle would be a great started project for restoration. The mileage is actual mileage. I've driven it around a bit when I first bought it and it was just fine. I have front and rear axles from another 1978 that go with it. With the current economy and work situation I will not have time to work on it and I have no indoor storage so i can't see it sitting around when someone could be restoring her. The tub will need replaced at some point. The frame needs repair at the rear bumper supports. This cruiser would be good for restoration as it is all stock and my personal opinion is that its good for frame up restoration and it is not fit for a daily driver.
