Overall Condition: This truck runs and drives well. It can be used as a daily driver or an off-road toy. Computer and Emissions: Everything works properly. I connected a computer code reader to the OBD 1 port and the code reader showed "No issues". There are no Check Engine Lights. There are no Anti-lock Brake lights or issues. Everything works as designed. Good emissions components. Good vacuum lines connecting emissions components. Interior: The interior is Clean. I would rate the interior as an 8 out of 10. Nice carpet. Nice door panels. Excellent seats that are not torn or stained. Excellent headliner. All electric options, such as power locks and power windows work and the switches are in good condition. Cruise control works. Heater works. Air Conditioner blows strong and cold. For a completely perfect interior, you should expect replace the window molding at the bottom of the windows with fresh rubber ($95.00); and, there is a crack in the dash pad ($60.00). It even has the factory Ford stereo. The glass is in good condition. Minor vertical scratches on passenger window which are common on ford trucks of this age. The steering column is in excellent shape, no play. The ignition cylinder is in excellent shape. The gauge cluster is clean, unscratched, and all the gauges work. Engine: The 5.8 L Windsor Engine is stock. It cranks and runs well. Transmission: The E4OD Auto Transmission shifts smoothly and goes into overdrive properly. Transfer Case: The Borg Warner 1356 Manual Shift Transfer case shifts and engages 4x4 properly. The shift mechanism is the preferred manual version, not the electronic "shift on the fly" version. Factory auto hubs. Differentials: Factory rear 8.8 differential. Factory front Dana 44 IFS. Gear ration is factory 3.54. Differentials are dry and run quiet. Suspension: The truck sits on a 6" lift, complete with EXTENDED RADIUS ARMS. The pivot point brackets are both bolted and WELDED onto the frame. The front cross member, where the pivot points mount, has been plated and welded for additional support. Fords frequently stress crack the center cross member and welding reinforces/repairs this area. Additionally, This Truck has the SUPERLIFT SUPERRUNNER equal length steering SYSTEM. You may read about this steering system by searching it on Google. It really tames the handling of the lifted truck and reduces tire wear by reducing/eliminating bump steer. Extended brake lines. Rear lift blocks. Factory quad shocks up front. Two shocks in rear. Shocks are in good condition. Pivot point and radius arm bushings in good condition. Tie rod ends in good condition. Sway bar bushings showing wear.($15.00). Brakes: Nothing noteworthy about the brakes, except to mention that the factory Anti-lock system works properly. Maybe a slight pulsation on braking. Exterior: The exterior paint is not perfect and there are dents and dings that reflect the truck's age. The clear coat is peeling on the roof, hood, and tops of fenders. This is the second paint job and the paint is worn and faded. I never minded the paint because the truck was always used as a truck. I didn't buy it to win a beauty contest, I bought it because somebody in it's past spend alot of time and money lifting the truck and it is mechanically sound. There is no body rust at all. There is a minor dent in the extended part of the cab on the passenger's side that could be repaired if buy wants a perfect body. Also, there is a dent in the roof which is unnoticed unless you climb into the bed and look at the roof. Also, you can see where I removed the body side molding on the driver's side of the bed. The molding was installed with windshield adhesive. I don't know how to remove the adhesive residue. Buyer might choose to buy new body side molding (69.00). Tires: The tires are 33x12.5x15 MT's on 15x10 rims. Tire tread varies between 40% and 60% remaining tread. The spare is also a 33x12.5x15. The mud tires are not as smooth riding as highway tires. They are balanced; but, the treads are just loud running on pavement. The buyer should plan to buy tires within a year, depending on how much the truck is used. Exhaust: Custom exhaust. Properly functioning catalytic converter. Properly function muffler. Properly functioning oxygen sensor. There is a slightly audible exhaust leak. One of the joints probably needs tightening, but overall the exhaust system is in good condition. The exhaust note has the typical mellow V8 Ford rumble, but is not loud. Bumpers: Front bumper is Smittybilt tubular bumper. The rear bumper is tubular and holds compressed air. The rear bumper has a class 3 hitch and camper tie down pegs. Battery: Brand new Dual Fuel Tanks: The front fuel tank works intermittently. The front fuel tank gauge has never worked; but, the tank has functioned normally. Of late, Miscellaneous: The truck was originally set up to carry a slide in RV style truck camper. The rear bumper has peg attachment points for the hold down straps. I have not "detailed" the truck cosmetically. The engine compartment has been cleaned with soap and water, but no shiny stuff has been applied. The exterior of the truck has been washed but not waxed or buffed. History: I bought this truck from a young man who just had a baby and his wife complained about the height of the truck. He bought a Ford Ranger 4x2. I ran a car fax and it showed clear, no issues, originally titled in Texas, now titled in Arizona. I have clear, open title. Mileage on title is accurate. Inspection: Vehicle may be inspected at any time, any day, while the auction is open. Payment: $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of end of auction which can be made via Paypal or by making a direct deposit into my Chase, Wells Fargo, or Bank of America account.
