Vehicle Detail
This super clean H1 Hummer has 15,675 miles since engine/transmission/transfer case replaced with new. Original miles on chassis is 60,415. (Remember, if a pre-2003 H1 has not had the engine replaced, the number 8 cylinder will most likely fail due to overheating at some time in the future!) All other replaceable parts of the steering, drivetrain etc. have also been replaced with new including steering box with doubler plate and steering stabilizer system added, half shafts, all front end parts, brake pads, drilled and slotted calipers, shocks, etc. The side and rear view mirrors along with the overhead speaker counsel were replaced with the factory newer style. Locking glove compartment, wood interior kit and passenger knee cut-out, heated seats, handyman jack, fire extinguisher and trailer brake controller were added. Winch works great and had the cable replaced with the expensive upgrade. Has an XM radio with multi disk changer and MP3, subwoofer system and extra speakers all around. Dick Cepek variable ride air shocks with preset hand controller, top of the line Viper alarm with remote start- intermittent cold weather start and bells and whistles. Parnelli Jones tires and Dick Cepek wheels. Has newer yellow top Optima batteries, K & N air filter, quiet, but better flow exhaust, air horns, spot lights all around, upgraded headlamps and upgraded LED exterior lighting. New steering wheel, full undercarriage protection, sprayed in bed liner, interior and exterior storage racks, spare tire and spare fuel tank carriers among many other extras. As you would expect, this H1 drives like it is new - tight as a drum and stops on a dime. As far as how it looks, I'll let the pictures do the talking. The vehicle has been pampered, serviced with Amsoil lubricants, stored indoors and mainly highway driven - rarely taken on groomed trails. The exterior color is Mesa Dusk which was only available in 1999 and 2000. It seems to change color depending on the surroundings. It is a show stopper whether you valet at a fancy night spot or you're out on a trail and the color is appropriate for both occasions. It's also one of the few colors that the H1 ever came in that can be mistaken to be a Military Vehicle. On Nov-16-11 at 08:40:37 PST, seller added the following information: I've had some questions regarding the wheels and CTIS system. The wheels were designed to use the system and CTIS system functions as it should. Also, overall height with spot lights is just under 7 feet.On Nov-18-11 at 22:51:01 PST, seller added the following information: Yes, I do have a clear title in hand. Engine was replaced by GM under warranty in 2003 which is also when odometer head and most else was replaced.
