1979 Pontiac Trans-Am. A true Smokey and the Bandit era muscle car. This car has a nearly brand new Pontiac 400, 6.6 motor with only 6000 miles on it, quadrajet 4bbl carb, auto, t-tops, and power windows. Its got white honeycomb trans am rims. Probably one of the rarest color combinations still around, being the white exterior with white and black interior. I just had full length floor pans from year one installed, with that came all new fuel and brake lines, new gas tank, everything was sprayed with rust proof paint which keeps under the car looking new and clean. The dynomax ultraflow dual exhaust sounds great. The driver seat needs to be reupholstered, it needs a headliner and some other minor interior work. The dashboard was cracked, now theres a black vacuum formed dash cap over it that looks nice and clean. ( purchased off of ebay ). The exterior looks good when clean but needs work. There is some surface rust on the lowercorners of the doors and one actual hole on the driver door. It really wouldn't be a major project to bring this car to show quality. This car can be driven every day, it's strong, fast, and it handles. You may see other TA's on the road but they won't look like this one. I have an extra set of honeycomb rims and the original 301 motor to be included if desired. I have owned this car for approximately 10 years, i had a title in my name at one time but it's long lost. The car is currenly registered in my name and has been registered in my name for the last 6 years. Prior to that it was registered in my fathers name. My current registration and a bill of sale go with the car, more than enough to establish ownership. I have done my best to describe the car accurately. There are no mechanical issues with the car. The only thing this car needs is body and interior work. The only rust on the car is what's depicted in the pictures on the outside of the car. This is an anniversary year car, it will only increase in value the older it gets. The only reason I am selling it is to get an older generation muscle car. I'm looking for a late 60's chevelle or camaro to be exact. Car is sold as is, its also listed on other sites, buyer to arrange pick up or shipping, with my full cooperation of course.
