Hi, this is a 1983 honda cr480 elsinore..it has been adult owned and maintenanced seasonally ( wheels taken off , hubs and bearings check and greased..swing arm bushings and bearings are like new.. no play in the wheels or swing arm..) ( triple clamps and forks , have been taken care of the same way.. no leaks - oil or air.. ) hub brakes still work like new...put new clutch plates a couple of seasons back.. work perfect.. the motor on this bike has never been opened or touched.. as i have never felt the need..bike has compression like new.. so much that it has sprained my foot acouple of times..with the piston top dead center, it cranks 1st kick everytime..evrything on this machine is all honda origonal .. except ( i up-graded to a WP high performance back shock, that was a grand after install.. worth it . handles like a modern bike..) also a answer period correct silencer was added and carb re-jetted..oops, almost forgot the after market grips) whitch i like the oem honda ones better..this bike may have 60 hours of ride time since day one...seat no rips or tears..this bike is for local pick up only.. but if you pay me for my gas and time i will haul it as far as the florida state line.. pay pal perfered .. after auction is over , when the bike is picked up.. i would consider a partial trade of somekind for a vintage class legal bike.. any questions feal free to contact me at 813 - 516 - 4668 thanksOn Nov-14-11 at 15:27:14 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: If you have a bid history of 5 or less.. please be prepared to pay for the bike..i know that you guys have to start somewhere ..i have alote of time and money in this bike through out the years..maintanence recipts to prove it..i didnt spray bomb the motor and frame to put on some dog and pony show..i love the bike , im just getting much older now and want to down size to the vintage class, on a smaller machine..this bike is 100% mechanicaly..if you are a perfectionist it could use a new back tire, the one that is on it is about 50% gone , could use swing arm stickers. the original ones are old. if you would like to know anything else feel free to call me...thanks phone is 813 516 4668
