Vehicle Detail

Selling my nice vintage Honda. I have owned this bike for over 15 years. It is in great overall shape. I used it for off road-trail riding. It runs great and it is Very fast! Renthal bars with Scott grips. Emgo hand guards. The Acerbis auxilliary fuel tank-number plate holds 3 liters and works fantastic to extend the range for long trail rides. Has the factory pipe with a DG silencer. I will also include a DG pipe that is in good shape. I liked the power band of the factory pipe a little better since it hits at a lower rpm and felt snappier to me. The DG pipe probably makes more power overall but at a higher rpm and it didn't fit the kind of riding I did. The front tire is a Bridgestone 80/100-18, and the rear is a Dunlop D739 110/100-18. Both in good shape. It has a top shelf Regina Gold O-ring chain, and chain & both sprockets are in good shape. The brakes are Honda drum and shoes and they both work good. I completely rebuilt the motor when I got it with all new bearings, seals , clutch, and top end. It has had one new Wiseco top end since. The motor is very tight and runs fantastic. It is raucus! It has a Uni air filter that was freshly cleaned and oiled. The fenders, tank and shrouds are all factory. The side panels are Maier. All the plastic is pretty good. The right side radiator shroud has a crack at the bottom, but it does not affect the performance. The rear fender has some creases from being flexed, but no cracks. It has a newer Ceet seat cover. It is comfortable to ride. The seat is downright cushy by todays standards. The radiators are both good and all the hoses and water pump are good as well. The suspension is in good shape. The front forks have newer seals and oil. The rear shock is good with no leaks and the linkage is all tight. The wheels are good with no cracks. The rear is true and the front is round but does have a slight woop in it. It doesn't affect the way it rides though and the bike feels solid and stable up to top speed. All the cables and controls are in good shape. The trans shifts nice and smooth. The only thing wrong with the bike is the trans drain plug is epoxied in the case. It will never leak, and I used a siphon tube to change out the oil every season. Overall this a really nice vintage bike that has been very well cared for. It needs nothing to go riding right now. It works super off road, and I'm sure it would be great for vintage motos too if that's your thing. The reserve is low for a bike in this condition. I hate to see it go, but I haven't really ridden it for a few years now, and I'm saving up for a new Triathlon bike. Check out the photos and ask any questions.
