1978 VW Transporter Bus direct from California. There was one owner before I bought it who owned it from 1979 till this year before I had it shipped to New York. Since the bus spent it's entire life out west, she is in beautiful original condition. There is no rust, floorboards and underside are rock solid. There is only 87,000 original miles and everything is in working condition which includes heater, gauges, brakes, transmission. This is the first year of fuel injection and runs fantastic. Owen who owned the bus for 32 years kept it in pristine shape. The upholstry looks brand new. There is one bench seat in the rear. It is nicely carpeted throughout. A new clutch kit and starter have been installed within the last 4,000 miles. A recently done professional paint job brought it to the yellow and white colors you see now. It's a beautiful bus, and I am sure not many left in this condition. The minor flaws are three small tears in an otherwise good condition headliner, a minor dent in the rear bumper, and one of the panals in the rear hatch area is warped. The door panals for the front two doors and slider are in great shape along with the dashboard. Must see to appreciate.
