This auction is for a 1971 Mercury Grand Marquis 4dr Sedan. This Mercury comes with a clean California title, current registration, and is pre-smog. This item is being sold by a charity and we have no history on the car. Please bid accordingly! The body is straight and complete but has multiple dings and scrapes all around. The body shows minor and normal surface scale but no significant rust. The rims and tires look ok and all glass is fine. The paint is faded all around. The trunk is clean with no rust and a good spare tire. This Mercury V8 429 is clean as well. The top vinyl material has some cracks from the sun and is slightly faded as well. The interior is in decent shape, and needs only minor cosmetic work. The carpet and floor mats have minor wear but not bad. The seats look to have been redone and in decent shape. The dash has large crack on top under the dash cover. The headliner is in good shape, and door panels are slightly worn in areas but not bad. This Mercury appears to turn over and start but will not stay running. May need new fuel pump. This item will need a new battery as it has been sitting as well. For any significant distance we would recommend a tow home for this item. This item looks to have been kept original. No Reserve, the buyer must pick up this item no later than 7 days after the end of the auction.
