This car is all original, but in need of cosmetic restoration. It is equipped with a 170 C.I.D. 6 cylinder engine, which has just had new spark plugs, fuel pump, battery, etc. The car has 107,000 miles on it buth the engine runs well. The 3 speed transmission shifts smooth with column linkage working fine. The fuel tank has been steamed out and the clutch has recently been replaced. The floor pans are very solid with the exception of the front by the pedals. The car runs, drives, and stops fine. It has 5 brand new tires. The S-22 package included bucket seats and console, and 6 tail lights instead of the standard 4 lights and more stainless ornamentation, all of which is in pretty good condition. The Comet has had some hail damage at some point in time and windshield has a small crack. All other glass is in good shape and functioning. There is rust in typical spots...the lower front fenders and right rear lower quarter-panel. This would make a nice restoration project or driver and comes with a clean Kansas title.
