1979 Pontiac Catalina - 4 door - 4.9L V8 engine with 2 barrel carb. As close to pristine, original condition as you can probably find. This is a once in a lifetime purchase for any Antique Car Collector or Car Enthusiast wanting to modify a classic with extra engine power and lots of chrome. The car has had only one owner (The Welcome Wagon Lady), one mechanic that serviced it regularly, has all its original parts and has always been parked in a garage with a cloth covering it, so it wouldn't get any dust on it. Needless to say, it was given meticulous care! The mechanic said he wouldn't hesitate to drive it from Midwestern Kansas (where car is located) to California. Pontiac Information - vin # 2L69Y9P179858 - odometer reads 36,244 - engine 4.9L with 2 barrel carb in great working condition but could use a good cleaning for appearance purposes - tires like new - still have 10/32 tread - factory AC - works - factory AM/FM radio - works - factory cruise control - not working, I believe it needs a new regulator - windows and locks are all manual and working - original vinyl top has no rips or tears and is still soft and plyable - undercarriage and trunk where undercoated and still in great condition - interior is like new with very few cosmetic needs: headliner sags and needs reattached or replaced, drivers side armrest is cracked and needs replaced and there is a quarter sized wear in the carpet on the drivers side where the left foot rests. - exterior body is in fantastic condition with few cosmetic needs: chrome strips on sides are showing some wear, two very small spots of rust (one by left rear fender and other where vinyl top meets body of car on one side) and I believe 3 small dings (no creasing or cracking of paint around them)
