Where do I start? If you have been looking for the Classic of all Classics, and a fun car that you can take to Car Shows, Cruise around town, then Sonny's car is it! I say Sonny's car because I am the President of our car club, and my friend has asked me to help him find a new home for his "Tweety Bird". Now for the detais: Hopefully you are familiar with these cars so I don't need to educate you on the basics. On occasion, Sony has let me enjoy driving her, and I can tell you she doesn't smoke at all, even when starting cold! The previous owner said that he completely rebuilt the engine and it shows. The regular tune up stuff has been done, points, plugs, etc. But in addition, the coil, while it looks stock, has been internally upgraded to electronic. It has a New Paint Job, New Clutch Assembly, New Coker Tires, and surprizingly the Original Spare Tire. The Original books and Owners Manual, along with all receipts, are also there. As you can see there is a First Class, New LeBaron Bonney cloth top,which is electrically operated. And if you live up North there is a Factory Optioanl Heater, for Fall Crusing. "Tweety Bird" has been tenderly caged in her own garage. Due to my age, I wasn't able to take pictures of the entire undercarriage. However, as you can see Sonny had all of the metal covered with POR 15. Is this a #1 car..No. But then he is not asking the $59,000 that a #1 Car demands. After my inspection, I found a few items that need attention. I would replace the radiator, as there is some minor seepage. The paint below the right passenger door needs to be touched up. The hood needs to be realigned. Also, the missing button on the front seat is in the glove box. And the Convertible Top Boot needs to be stretched as it hasn't been used in awhile, due to my friends deteriorating heart condition. A third party inspection is welcomed.
