Yellow 1964 CHEVROLET CORVAIR Convertible This 1964 Corvair Spyder convertible is a one-of-a-kind classic. This was the only American-made, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine . With the then rare Turbocharged 150hp Spyder engine makes this Convertible Corvair even more unique of the 4761 that were made. We traded this car recently for a 2011 Buick LaCrosse. The car is in nice shape and is a nice solid driver with turbo motor and manual transmission. The body is solid and paint is decent. The car presents well and runs and drives well. The car shows well, but is not a concours show car, more of a nice solid car to drive and enjoy. Interior is in decent shape, as is the convertible top, as seen in the photos.
