Here is a 1955 Chevrolet First Series 5 window Shortbed Truck, Just pulled out of a storage barn up in the foothills of Mariposa, Ca. where it had sat indoors since 1980. There is no motor, transmission or seat, the motor went bad and was pulled before it went into storage and is long gone. All glass is goood except the rear window and the passenger door glass. The wood in the bed needs to be replaced, It's had a repaint in yellow over the original turquoise probably in the 70's that is all fading to give it a good patina look. There is no rust besides surface rust, the floors and cab corners are in great shape, no patch panels needed here. The left front fender needs some bodywork other than that the body is pretty straight. It even still has the original California black plates on it, This would make a great shop truck for someone who wants to put the time and money into it or a full restoration being there is no rust to deal with. Im not sure how many 1955 first series trucks were made but I hear they are more rare than the 54 and earlier models. If you have any questions just shoot me an email and I will get back to you.
