Up for auction is a really,really nice, almost completely original, well taken care of late year production1968 Bonneville. This is a great looking and great running bike. I have thousands of dollars worth of reciepts for work done on the bike. I got this bike from a guy that owned it for over 20 yrs. The motor has been completely gone thru. The paint on the tank is just beautiful.The tires are Dunlops that are in great shape.The chrome on the headlight , rims (original made in england dunlops), and the rest of the bike is in great shape also.I was told that it had the chrome trim package from the dealer,including the headlight ears,brake pedal, and muffler brackets. EVERYTHING works as it should on this bike. As you can see from the pictures, the speedo, although a Smiths,is not the grey faced one, but works fine. The left side muffler has some discoloration , I think due to some battery acid leakage over the years. Though not that bad, it is there. Stainless fenders are also very nice. Still has the original phillips head fasteners on the primary and trani side covers. New clutch. The center stand is missing,and the air filters are not correct for the year.
