Up for auction from The Mustang Ranch in Golden, Colorado, a Thunderbird. This 57 Bird has spent most of it's life in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The body is in a working coat of primer and will need additional body work/ primer before paint. Under the primer is the original Wimbeldon white paint with red interior. The body work on the front clip has been completed except for the damage that was done to the left front fender when the car was moved. Also, the engine is in need of the passenger's side exhaust mainfold. As you can see from the pictures, it needs metal replacement in both rockers, rear lower quarter skirts and a little on driver's floor pan. There are no signs of heavy collision. Sitting in the engine bay are the numbers matching 312 engine and automatic transmission that have both been rebuilt about 5 years ago. I have personally rotated the motor to make sure it is free. I have not done a complete inventory of the parts but from what I was told it looks like most everything is there. The front and rear bumpers/valance have been rechromed and are still in new condition and it has the stock front suspension along with the original 9 inch ford rear end. This is a great car to restore or convert to the 427 SOHC cammer/Boss 429 car that you always wanted to build!
