Up for auction with low reserve is my '72 Cutlass Convertible with 442 trim. As you can see from the pictures it is a looker and I always get the thumbs up sign from other motorists as I cruise around town. It has the orginal Vin Stamped 4 barrel 350 with turbo 350 trans. Power windows and the power top all work well. The soft top is only 4 years old and is in great condition. It has 3:73 posi rear end, I still have the orginal 2:73 gears if you would prefer the highway gears. I replaced all brake lines, brake linings master cylinder and porportioning valve within the last year when I converted the car to front disc brakes. I have the orginal Protecto Plate card as well. An issue with the car, but I would let it stop me from driving down the highway, is the transmission is getting weak. I have a rebuilt Turbo 350 with no miles to be included with the sale. I just never got around to installing it. This car is not perfect, but with some more work will be a great car to have fun with. I know I have had tons of pleasure with it. Now I have lost interest in this project so it is not finished the way I wanted. The bench seat has a good amount of wear on the drivers side, but I was always intended to install the bucket seats (need to be completely overhauled) floor shifter and center console I have in my poccession. To complete the 442 look I also have the rear sway bar and control arms. If the winning bidder would like those pieces I sell those for an additional $300. These pieces will not be sold until the car is sold so please do not even ask. Please feel free to schedule an appointment to inspect this car if you so desire.
