Hi, You are bidding on a 1988 chevy K 1500 fleetside farm truck. I’m selling this for a friend and the truck is for sale locally. **This auction was relisted with correct vin number info.** This truck was completely rebuilt from the ground up several years ago. A virtual frame off restoration. It was recently brought up to Elizabethtown, KY from Davenport, IA. It made the 3+ hour trip without a problem and wasn’t trailered home or anything. It’s a reliable farm/beater truck. It has 4 wheel drive. It runs and drives well. However it does have a few issues.The heater doesn’t work, a new heater core was put in but it’s probably electrical, in the heater control panel. The truck doesn’t have the front bumper and the windshield is cracked in two places. The truck leaks brake fluid, it has two lines, one for front and back brakes. You currently have 50/50 brakes. The driver side window likes to stick in the down position, so you will have to play around with that to get it to stay up at times. The interior is really dirty, it needs a good cleaning. The title is missing. So it would be sold with a bill of sale. The winner bidder should trailer the truck home if they are not local, however they can drive it back. As it made a IA to KY trip with no problems. But with the current issues with the truck, like the brakes, I wouldn’t drive the truck unless you were local.I am local as well and can help interested parties see the vehicle in person or help load the vehicle for the winning bidder. The truck is being sold “AS IS” there is no warranty on the truck. As is. The truck should be fully inspected by a knowledgable mechanic before being a daily driver.
