This auction is for a 1980 SUZUKI RM 250. Very nice original condition. Bike has been gone through. Parts have either been powder coated, re-polished, re-plated or re-painted. Tank is in very good original condition, alittle faded but for it's age it looks great. All other plastic is new. Although the original plastic is available I chose to run the Works style opaque plastic. I ran the number 4 as this was Kent Howerton's number in 1980 when he won the 250 National Title (see picture). New Works Shocks ($528) set up for a 190 pound Intermediate. The original shocks are included in the purchase. Tires have two ten minute motos of use on a prepped MX track (REM Glen Helen American Retrocross). That is the only time on this bike since the resto. Forks have new seals and oil and feel good. Magura stle levers. New cables. Bike is not perfect but pretty close. This is a mechanically sound bike. Ready to race or just add to your collection. Motor runs good and starts on first or second kick. Bike is sold as-is. Remember this is a 31 year old bike so bid accordingly. They had no warranties when they were new and they have no warranties now. Sold on Bill-of Sale only.
