1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore We are excited to offer this very nice 1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore AHRMA Post Vintage MX bike. The red rocket CR's are very popular in the twin shock evo classes. This bike was purchased from a gentlemen in PA who was getting out of vintage MX. We took a good solid bike and made it better. Full cosmetic and light mechanical restoration. New plastic kit. New seat cover. New Michelin tires / tubes. New gold series chain. New fork boots. New bars, levers, perches, and grips. Tank refinished - perfect. New backgrounds and graphics. DG pipe and silencer. Suspension is good - bike runs well and all controls are functioning. Stock carb - clean jetting. This is a chance to own a piece of MX history affordably. We have included a video of the bike cranking and running below for your review. This is a very nice example that you could be very proud of at any vintage race. The reserve is set very reasonable based on the cost and the time of restoration. These are 30-40+ year old vintage dirt bikes. The original manufacturers didn't warranty them when they were new, so neither will I. Every used vintage dirt racing motorcycle, whether it has been restored or not, will ALWAYS need SOMETHING adjusted, tweaked, modified, replaced, repaired by YOU before you ride or race it.
