This truck was restored mechanically and cosmetically about ten years ago. The truck has lived most of it's life in the Idaho area. The engine evidently is a 429. According to the previous owner it was rebuilt and the odometer set at zero. Also installed at that time is a ZF 5spd transmission from a 90s era F250. The engine runs really well. It idles smooth, makes a load of power and does not smoke a bit. The carburetor is an aftermarket 4bbl Edelbrock. The truck comes with the stock air cleaner. The A/C has been converted to 134 and it blows cold. The truck has power disc brakes and power steering. The paint appears to be basecoat clear coat and has held up quite well. It has a deep shine and the body is very straight. I believe the color to be the original color of the truck. There is a big paint chip above the drivers door handle (see photo) and also some cracking on the drivers door. There are some stone chips on the front of the hood. Overall the paint is pretty exceptional, especially considering it's age. The tires are new. The brakes feel good. The truck goes down the road straight without any pulling or vibrations. All of the exterior lights work. The turn signal detent does not work on the right side. The radio doesn not work. The fan, heat, wipers and windows all work well.
