Vehicle Detail

This bike only has 7800 original miles. When we got it it had been sitting in a garage unused for years. We painted the gas tank, put on a new seat cover and did some mild customizing on it. The carbs have been cleaned, brakes gone through, and it has a fresh battery. everything works on the bike and it has no crash damage or dents. The bike has a clear title. The tires are good. The clutch and gears all work fine, as well as the brakes and all electrics. The charging system is fully functional, battery stays charged all the time. No fuel or oil leaks are apparent, except a very small seep around the cam cover, which most of these bikes have. This is a minor thing, it does not run and drip. The bike starts, idles runs and drives fine. It dosn't rattle smoke or leak. It's never been wrecked or dropped. The gas tank has a nice new paint job on it; black with gold pin stripe, professionally done, not a spray bomb job.The seat cover is also new, and better than an original cover. All the chrome on the bike is nice and shiny except the exhaust headers which are prone to rust. They are solid but rather dull and worn looking. The bike has a pair of reverse cone megaphone mufflers; these are louder than stock but do have a baffle in them. The baffles are removeable and can be packed with glass wool if you want the bike to be quieter. The side panels are in excellent shape with no cracks or missing pins. They are not painted to match, though. The originals were gone when we got the bike. The bike sits very low, seat height is only 29 to 31 " depending where the shocks are set. A 5 foot, 4inch tall person can sit on this bike with both feet flat on the ground..It can be brought down to 27" with shorter shocks. It's also very light and easy to handle. The power is very mild and linear, doesn't come on like gangbusters and get the rider in trouble. The bike will move off from a stop at an IDLE with a bit of clutch slip, making it very easy to learn on. We have sold these to women and shorter people in the past and they have all loved the bike. The bike however, is not slow. It will do freeway speeds easily and top out at 100mph plus. A learner will not outgrow it the minute he or she knows how to ride. To sum up, this is a decent bike that will do the job, be fun to own, and not give the owner a ton of greif. It's a solid, simple, dependable machine with plenty of miles and fun left in it. In better times we have sold these for around $1400.00 and the buyers were very happy. We think you will love it too. Bike will be available for pickup after mon, Nov 7.
