Vehicle Detail
I'm the 2nd owner of this Eddie Bauer Bronco. The original owner is a Memphis attorney that almost teared up when he sold it. All highway miles. At some point, he replaced the engine and it was purchased and installed by his local Ford dealership. I have the invoice for the engine. This is the cleanest Bronco I found a couple years ago when I searched for one. The only interior problem is with the driver seat. The leather is worn and is in poor condition. All of the interior mechanical parts work with two exceptions that I hope to have fixed soon as my mechanic is looking for parts. 1) the back glass works with the key but the interior switch stopped working and needs a new switch. The overhead compass stopped working last week and looking for that part as well. The original Eddie Bauer spare tire cover needs some work. The draw string stitching needs to be sewn. It is intact. I have a cover on it that matches great. It's a camo style in tan/brown. There are a few dinks and pecks, but nothing major. That's everything wrong. Everything right is it is a great SUV with 260,000 miles and nobody can believe it; even my mechanic. Engine is strong. Push-button 4X4 works in high and low range. Needs to be waxed and fix the few little things and you have a great SUV. New Pioneer CD player and rear speakers. I just had my friend with a body shop install new weather molding around the doors and windows. Also installed new strike plates so the doors close smoothly and tight. No cracks in the vinyl or dash. Heavy duty Husky-style fitted floor mats and a matching mat that covers the entire cargo/back end. This is the last year Ford made the big Bronco so they don't come any newer. No rust. I'm just listing all of the good and bad so you know what you are getting. Contact me by email with any questions. I'm not familiar with hauling but will assist if you choose to have it shipped at your expense. I looked into uship recently and the going price for a big SUV seems to be around $500 depending on the distance. I know this because I wanted to start pulling a trailer and didn't want to use this Bronco so I bought a Hummer and priced having it shipped. My Hummer purchase is the only reason I am selling. I have 3 other vehicles and a Harley so I'm out of space and don't want to park the Bronco under the trees or place in storage. For serious shoppers, please ask for the Ford invoice on the engine that was installed by the prior owner.
