1971 CHEVROLET "C/5" BLAZER, FACTORY 2WD: THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ORIGINAL 2WD BLAZERS I HAVE SEEN, NOT CUT UP, SMOOTHED OUT, OR PERMENANT MODIFICATIONS. I OR MY BEST FRIEND HAVE OWNED THIS BLAZER SINCE 1990, I BOUGHT IT FROM MY BEST FRIEND IN 2002. CONDITION: VERY ORIGINAL AS STATED ABOVE, ORIGINAL PAINT FROM DOORS BACK, FACTORY TILT WHEEL, AIR CONDITIONING (ALL PARTS IN PLACE, NEEDS CHARGE), TACHOMETER, RADIO BLOCK OFF PLATE, STOCK HUB CAPS, WHEELS..... BODY IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, TOP IS ALSO IN GOOD CONDITION. SUSPENSION: (ONLY REAL MODIFICATIONS MADE) ALL SUSPENSION AND CROSSMEMBER COMPONENTS COME FROM "EARLY CLASSIC ENTEPRISES (http://www.earlyclassic.com/). LIST INCLUDES: FRONT 2.5" DROP SPINDELS, 3" DROP SPRINGS, SHORT SHOCKS, CHROMED HD SWAY BAR, ALL NEW BUSHINGS. Not only does our unit give your chassis 2.5" more ground clearance, it's raised center hoop design eliminates driveshaft interference on trucks with a slammed stance. This Assembly also provides exhaust passages to allow you to run 3" dual exhaust through the center of your chassis and out of harm's way. This black powder-coated beast has been engineered and fabricated from 1/4" thick Laser-cut and formed steel plate to be stronger and more functional than the factory unit it replaces". TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER: Designed to replace the factory automatic transmission crossmember for additional clearance. This crossmember is a direct replacement for a turbo 350 or 400, and will also work with a 700r4, 4l60, 4l80, and others. Allows pan removal without removing crossmember. AM RADIO, FRONT BUMPER (the one on truck has minor dent by turn signal from muffler shop, see pic) Needs: could use widow felts, door weather striping, heater controls need adjustment, dash lights need ground wire contact cleaned, This Blazer looks good, runs good, has that original look and feel that gives it character (put this Blazer next to a full custom 2wd and mine gets all the looks!). I drive to about 4-6 shows a year and some ocasional sunday drives, so rarely used. As with any vehicle this age it has some minor scapes but being as original as it is, I consider this a survivor vehicle that would be a shame to restore. I am going to tear down and rebuild my garage and drive way so my "keeper" has to go rather than suffer the winter outside!
