Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1987 Mercedes Benz 190e 2.3-16 valve. this car has 271,930 original miles on it and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The engine runs strong and quiet. If you have never gotten a chance to own a wonderful machine and a testament to all that Mercedes strives for in motor vehicle excellence, then now is your chance to get in on the action at a fraction of what these cars are worth. whether you are simply looking for a daily driver or to own a piece of invaluable history, this car is exactly what you are looking for. As with any car this age you don't gain character without drawbacks. the photos i have attached show all of the things that i am aware of on the car as far as blemishes and such things go. the things that you can't see, i will try to list off for you. The A/C DOES work but the system needs recharged (I have a brand new reciever/dryer that i am including with the car, I am also including a brand new windshield wiper and rear wheel bearings as well.) The heater works great in the winter (and in the summer too, if you are into that sort of thing). The cruise control and ABS do not work, but those have never really been issues with me. The dash has some cracks in it, and the seats have a few tears, the driver seat especially. other than that the interior is in relatively good shape. I have kept the oil changed on a regular basis with good oil and have just been using the car as a daily driver for years. there are a decent amount of new parts on the car, all oem, all the receipts have been kept as well. The car is a 5 speed "dogleg" shift pattern. The title is clear, although I did have to request a duplicate title as I have apparently misplaced the original. It has never been wrecked. If you care, here is a little history behind the machine, this is somewhat of a rare car as there were only roughly 2,000 shipped to the U.S. in 86' and 87'. Mercedes 190e 2.3 16v Any other questions/ want more pictures simply contact me on ebay's messaging system and I will try to accommodate your requests to the best of my abilities. thank you for your time and good luck!
