Vehicle Detail

1976 Porsche 911S Targa Up for auction this very rare 911S targa. This car was one of only a handful cars special ordered in Karminrot (magenta), what makes this car even more spectacular is that it still wears it’s ORIGINAL PAINT!!! This 911 is in very good condition in and out, the body and undercarriage are both super clean with not so much as a spot of rust, the interior is nearly flawless the suspension is tight and responsive and mechanically the car is superb...it is a magnificent vehicle all around. The car has been meticulously maintained and it shows! -Exterior- The body is in near perfect condition, there is not a single spot of rust anywhere on this 911 and that’s the beauty of a car in it’s original paint...you know there never was any rust or accidents, you can take it at face value. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. Tires are practically brand new, with approximately 95+% of the tread remaining. Everything in the car works 100% This car has trully been babied it’s entire life. It has always been stored in a climate controlled garage under a soft cover, driven on only he most exceptionally beautiful days, it has not seen a single drop of rain or snow in it’s life. Due to the age of the car and original nature of the car please expect to see some minor imperfections here and there such as a few stone chips on the hood (see picture), a very small ding in the driver’s door (pictured) . The body had a very light patina adding to the charachter of the car, however it is visibly only upon extremely close inspection...as a matter os fact it was even difficult to capture with the camera (as seen in the picture with the “911S” badge). -Interior- The interior is in magnificent original shape, including the seats (fronts have been recently reupholstered), carpets and door panels headliner etc. are all in great shape. The dash is in mint condition with no cracks or imperfections. The carpets are clean and there are no strange odors. The only non-original piece inside this car is the radio, otherwise it is bone stock. -Engine & Transmission- The engine is perfect, the 2,7 powerplant is perfectly tuned, runs strong, starts up on the first try each and every time and burns/leaks absolutely no oil. It runs and idles as it should, with no problems. It is a great running little Porsche, always (professionally) maintained. The standard upgrades have been addressed including replacement of the head studs and installation of “Carrera” hydraulic chain tensioners. The engine is completely dry and there are no leaks anywhere, even after sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks the garage floor is spotless. This car has been religiously maintained. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six. The ride in this 911 is great, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises, the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is over 35 years old! As mentioned this car wears it’s original paint so obviously there have never been any accidents or rust. The car is free on any liens is ready for a new home. -TERMS OF SALE- I have full faith in the quality of this vehicle and confidence in the accuracy of it’s description, unfortunately disclaimers have become part of life these days hence the following: Buyers are more than welcome, and even encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person BEFORE the auction ends.
