Vehicle Detail

Here is my 1994 F-250. It is a club cab, XLT, 4x4. It has the time tested and proven 7.3 liter International Navistar indirect injection diesel engine. This is the factory turbo version that Ford had as an option on the late '93 and early '94 trucks. I bought this truck a few months ago and I really like the truck and don't need to sell it and won't mind keeping it. The only reason I'm considering selling it is because it is kind of hard to get 5 kids into the club cab and I would like to have a crew cab truck. The truck does have some rust and I have photographed the areas so you can see them. The interior is in excellent shape for a 17 year old truck with only minor stains in the carpet and one small tear in the driver's seat. Everything else in the interior is perfect. Mechanically the truck is excellent! When I bought the truck I could tell right away that it needed the fuel system refreshed. I installed a new remanufactured injector pump, new G code injectors, new fuel return lines and caps, changed the oil and fuel filter and cleaned the K&N air filter. Since then I have removed the horrible factory down pipe and replaced it with a 2 3/4 inch Banks downpipe which runs into a 3 1/2" straight through exhaust. The turbo spools up very well and makes 10 PSI of boost without much effort. The glowplugs, glowplug relay, and wait to start light work as they should. We have had some cold mornings lately and the truck starts instantly with one cycle of the glowplugs and withougt using the block heater. The truck will have a puff of gray smoke upon a cold start, which is normal, but it clears up instantly. It will roll a little black smoke upon heavy throttle but not too much. The truck is running exactly as it should. The E4OD auto transmission had the normal electrical problems that are associated with the factory transmission controller. I got sick of that and installed a $650 Optishift transmission controller to replace the factory controller. This completely eliminated the electrical problems and now it is like having a new transmission only better because the Optishift allows you to customize your shift points and torque converter lock up they way you want it. It also displays trans temp, throttle position sensor voltage, speed, what gear the trans is currently in and you can switch it to manual and change gears manually with the controller. The Optishift is truly an awesome addition. If you are not familir with it go to Optishift.com and check it out or google it and see what others say about it. The truck has a triple gauge pod on the A pillar with boost, EGT, and trans temp gauges by Glowshift. They fuction as they should. The truck has Toyo LT285/75/16 tires. One of them is brand new, the others are 80-90 percent. Both fuel tanks work just fine but the rear tank has a slow leak that I am going to repair or replace the tank. The A/C and heat work great, the power windows and locks work. The driver's window requires some assistance going up but it does work. This must be a common problem with these trucks because I have a '93 F250 that does the same thing. The truck has a diamond plate tool box and bed rails. There is nothing on this truck that doesn't work. The 4wd functions like it should. Since I've had the truck I have also installed a new vacuum pump, upper and lower Moog ball joints on both sides, new inner and outer wheel bearings on both sides, front brake calipers and pads, throttle position sensor, belt tensioner, and idle pulley. It has a Stearling 10.25 rear end with 3.55 gears and a Dana 50 front end. This truck is my daily driver so the milage will go up. I would drive it coast to coast tomorrow with no worries. On Oct-30-11 at 09:06:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Ebay shows that this truck has had 7 owners. I also ran a Carfax report on it and I believe that it has only had 4 owners including me. The first owner moved from Ohio to Indiana then back to Ohio and a new title was issued each time. The young man that I bought the truck from said that he was the third owner. I can provide a copy of the Carfax to anyone that is interested.
