1957 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE 2 DR HARDTOP COUPE Restore or parts This car was found at a garage sale were the old man who owned it passed away his widow was selling everything so she could move in with here kids . He was a hoarder and there was crap everywhere I went there to buy a 1977 firebird that my buddy told me was in the garage. When we got the bird dug out we found the plymouth in the corner . She told me her husband had plans on restoring it back in 1992 and had the whole car minus the fenders sand blasted top to bottom and sent the motor and trans out to a buddy to be rebuilt but then got into a dispute with his friend over money and never got the drivetrain back then the car was put in the corner of the garage where it sat until now .THATS WHY IT LOOKS SO RUSTY it has a skim layer of rust from sitting without paint you can see all the lead body seams the rust sands of real easy as you can see in the pic were i sanded a spot with a sanding block . The car was plum full of parts when we pulled it out and i tried my best to go threw the piles of junk that was stacked up to the ceiling to find anything that looked like it went to the car .We couldn t find the front or back windshields or the front seat .The dog house is on the car but the inner fender walls are in the trunk .Looks like most everything else is there but not sure and i dont want to go threw all the parts and make a check list so dont even ask !! and i will not part it out the car will be sold as a whole with al the parts that are in it sorry . The car rolls nice and is ready for transport The rockers on the car are rusted out and so are the lower quarter panels and ther is rust around the trunk pan . I looked on ebay and you can get all the replacement panels pretty cheap !! The frame looks very nice and the main floor boards look good except the side by the rockers in the front The car has a clear title -- and is being sold as is -- Feel free to ask any questions and good luck bidding !!
