My Grandfather purchased this car from its original owner in West Virginia over 30 years ago. My father then purchased the car from my grandfather/his dad. He (my dad) and I have spend the past 24 years restoring the car to this condition. Right now the car has a new radiator in it, and we just added rack and pinion steering a few years ago. It handles well. Built for fun and not for speed it is a great car to drive around on the weekends or locally. I recently took the car to the 2011 Lake Mirror classic, A nationally known car show held where I live a few weeks ago, where I put it up for sale at $24,000. I had many many inquiries about the car as well as compliments, everyone found our price very reasonable. This car really is something special. I never leave home in it without a thumbs up or honk from at least 1 person.You can drive this car everyday if you wanted too, in fact they like to be driven, they must be. We have a few things incomplete on the car, we do not have the overdrive switch hooked up, it is an easy an inexpensive system to hook up we just have never really needed it, also windshield washer system isn't in the car, this also is something that we just never needed. The car does leak a small amount of oil. The car comes complete with a spare tire stored underneath the trunk in a neat compartment. A wood grain steering wheel (recently added with the rack and pinion steering system). I have had the pleasure of driving this car around everyday for the past few months, due to my regular vehicle being used for other matters. It hasn't left me stranded, it's really a lot of fun to drive. You and yours can enjoy our hard work and what is truly a British classic.
