Vehicle Detail

Nice running and great shape Scout that has been totally restored. Pro Comp 33" tires, 6.2 GM diesel that starts right up every time and runs great. Goes down the road straight and true. Can drive anywhere and get over 20 mpg. Frame is in great shape and there is no rust. I can send more pics if interested. The only issues are the speedo goes crazy and at idle the brakes are soft. They work fine when driving, must be a vacuum issue. Will try to have both things resolved before pickup. I am interested in selling, but will take a trade/partial trade for a full size SUV... Escalade, Denali, Expedition, Navigator, or Suburban. Tell me what you have. I do have it for sale locally, but I have the reserve low, so happy bidding or make me an offer or trade. On Oct-23-11 at 17:40:54 PDT, seller added the following information: This was an original diesel, but does not have the original motor. It has a 4 speed with 1st being a granny gear. Would be a perfect rock crawler, lots of low end torque. Tires are in very good shape, lots of tread. On Oct-23-11 at 18:20:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention I also have a repair manual that comes with the scout. On Oct-23-11 at 18:44:21 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, I am new to Scouts but there are a lot of experts out there... Thank you for the clarification. Apparently this was not an original diesel. It looks like an older Scout 800, but the title, and nameplate say it is a 1974. I did a VIN check and it verifies this. I don't have a lot of history on the vehicle, I believe he used two vehicles and made it into one? I have a clear title and the pics speak for themselves. Please feel free to ask anymore questions or if I have something wrong in my description. I have 100% feedback and don't want to mislead anyone.
