1966 Amc Marlin Hello Marlin Lovers, Marlin's are a one of a kind car, a car you literally cannot describe and have to see in person. A person would have to be crazy to sell a Marlin, but atlas I am running out of room. This is a Great Opportunity for you to buy a very solid and Rare 1966 Amc Marlin. I will be listing all the goods as well as the bads of the car. The car has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, bench seat, 327 engine with a 2bl holley, automatic trans , floor shifter (that is strange with a bench) and front disc brakes. The car is in excellent shape as far as its structure and body. The car originally came from New Mexico and has spent only 2 winters in Chicago. There is some surface rust there and there, but absolute no rust. The car literally can be blasted, primed, touched with bondo and painted. You will not have to spend weeks on repairing rust holes, or thin metal because this car is that solid. The interior is mostly complete, however the seats will need to be recovered, the dash will need to be repaired from cracks, there is no headliner, there is no carpet. I took a picture of the seat springs to show you how solid they are. The front seats slide on its track as it should. I am missing the console, radio and heater blower motor for it (I do have the enclosure for it though). The engine is a 327 with a holley 2bl on it. I believe it is a 340hp edition but do not hold me to that. The engine currently is frozen. When I bought the car though (about 1 1/2 years ago) the motor was not stuck so I would assume it will not take much to free it. I have not tried to get running. I do not have keys for the car. The wiring looks good, and is not cracking/dry rotting. Also there are 2 bb hits in the windshield (view pics). The rims that are on it currently look like 100 spoke rims. I am not sure if that was a factory option. I do have 3 original hubcaps. Also have the front seat belts, sun visors, and some misc ashtrays and misc pieces. If you do not see a part on the car in one of the photos then assume it is missing. The rust patch you see next to the rear windshield is a piece of paint/bondo that came off of the car. It has formed a layer of surface rust there. Final I do not have a title for it. I have a Bill of Sale from a Salvage dealership out of New Mexico. It can easily be registered if you know what your doing. When I bought the car I had big plans for it. I was going to chop it, section it and alter the wheel base. I was going to make a promod dragster out of it, however I have been busy with other projects and have not even touched this Marlin since I bought it. I hate seeing it sit so I decided to sell it.
