1966 GTO Original CA car. 1967 400 stock motor and 400 turbo transmission. CA black plate car. Automobile has been in CA entire life. Very little rust. Motor was rebuilt by the “late” Ed Hale. There is less than 300 miles on motor and transmission. Transmission built by Sparks. Every mechanical part on the car has been rebuilt or replaced by Ed Hale’s master mechanic Matt Alford. Receipts for labor and parts provided. 3.25 posi traction rear end, new electrical system, all suspension replaced, entire assembly rebuilt, disc brake conversion, new gas tank, desert cooling system, Holly double pumper carb, Doug headers, etc. List is too numerous to list. Car runs like a dream. The car originally came from the factory with aqua green paint and black vinyl top. The only rust was on the rear window lower panel and it will have to be replaced. Included in purchase will be an OPG replacement panel, brand new to factory specs. Interior has new carpet and new roof liner. The roof liner will have to be installed. New glove box, all gauges work. Front dash is in fair condition. The driver and passenger seats each have one fairly large tear. Overall, the car interior is pretty clean. All original armrests, etc. are there. It needs slight body work and paint. Great project car. Paint it any color you like! I have $22,000 invested in it. Starting at $8,000 opening bid with a low reserve. This was a lifelong dream to put this car together. I spared no expense.
