This Has been my project for several years now but we just brought a new born into the world and I need to sacrifice some toys.. I bought this Samurai from a guy that took extremely good care of it and kept it in a garage most of its life. It is probably one of the cleanest ones in the country. I bought it because I wanted something that would fit in the back of my toy hauler trailer and that I could take out on trails with a friend. I put the spring over lift kit on, bigger tires, and diesel conversion. I took it out on some trails one time on a dry day and decided it was too clean to use as a wheeling rig. Ever since I have just kept it in my trailer and use it in the summer on the pavement only. There's virtually no rust on it except maybe some little surface stuff on the suspension which is normal. The Goods- 1.9 VW Turbo diesel with stock suzuki 5 speed trans (non tdi AAZ engine code) had approx. 88k miles when installed) Rocky Road diesel conversion kit Rocky Road bolt on spring over lift kit complete with new shocks and driveline spacers. 31 10.50 15 Super Swamper TSL tires with maybe 1500 miles on them. I also have the 5th tire for a spare just never mounted it on the back Freshly rebuilt transmission and transfer case Jeep grand cherokee grey cloth front seats HID headlights Automatic electric engine fan CD player Back seat (most are missing in other samurais) Remote oil filter system mounted under the hood Oil cooler in front of radiator Autometer gauges for exhaust temp, boost and engine temp. There's also an oil pressure gauge mounted lower on the dash. Little stuff wrong- Small dings around the outside and some bigger waves on the rear gate. The hood also has some discolor in the middle. In fourth gear at 30 mph theres a vibration that I think is coming from the driveline and I didn't get a chance to get it balanced. I just run it up to 35 in third and it's fine. I used the stock radiator for the conversion which works fine but with the bigger tires it over heats going up tougher long hills on the freeway. I just watch the temp gauge and back out of it when I need to. I have a bigger radiator that I didn't have time to put in because the radiator support is going to have to be cut and brackets need to be fabricated to get it in. The left front door sticks sometimes opening from the inside, I just push my shoulder into it if does. Slow oil leaks, after being parked in my garage for a few weeks theres some drops on the ground. Its a diesel they all leak. The right rear wheel center cap got cracked the one time I took it out on the trails The Tachometer doesn't work since I did the engine swap. There might be a converter box that could be wired in on the market somewhere. I think that covers all I can think of.. sold as is, with no warranty. I prefer a local buyer but if not, you will need to arrange your own transport. I will only sell to US and Canada. Within a few hrs of closing (you winning the auction) I will need a $500 non refundable deposit sent through paypal preferably to hold the vehicle or the sale is void and I will re-list!! I will not release the vehicle or title until monies are paid in full! Any payments with a cashiers check will need to clear before I can release the vehicle.
