This Auction is for 2 cars a 1972 Chevelle Convertible and a 1970 Cutlass Convertible Please read discription before bidding, For sale is a 1972 Chevelle Convertible Project Car with a clear title, along with original owners manual. I purchased it from the son of the original owner. The car was sitting and has been off the road since 1983, I disassembled the nose and cut the trunk pan out to check all the problem rust area's, The chevelle still has it's original 307 with a 350 auto trans and a 10 bolt rear,The Frame has a soft spot under the cowl on the driver's side and where the steering box mounts to the frame, The car will need floor pans, trunk pan and rear quarter panel's, including inner wheel house's and drop-off patches, Fender's and driver's door could be savable, The lower cowl will also need some work. The inner and outer rockers are in good shape. All glass in good and intact, The convertible frame is in great shape with the glass back window and all components are still in place, The area around the Convertible top also looks good. The firewall is in good condition and all tags are in place as they left the factory. I have picture's of the car before I disassembled the car and of the rust issue's, I have all the parts I removed from the car including the original bucket seats and rear seat front & rear bumper with brackets rad support, fender exstentions etc. Also with this auction I am including a 1970 Cutlass Convertible with a solid frame, My intentions were to use the Cutlass frame on the Chevelle as they are the same A-Body, There are many usable parts still left on the Cutlass including the convertible frame and components, 350 olds rocket motor and trans. I do not have any paper work for the cutlass but I am sure you could get paper work if you were interested from a company called Broadway Title company.
