1999 Plymouth Voyager. I bought this van new in July of 1999 from Capitol Chrysler in South Charleston WV. It served as our family vehicle until November of 2007. I then transferred the car to my parents because my father has had a hip replacement and was having trouble driving the car they owned at the time. The van had 105 thousand miles on it at that time. They drove the van until this past month when they purchased a newer, more comfortable (for them) vehicle. The Voyager now is back in my possession. It has 124 thousand miles on it. It is in good shape for it's age and mileage. There are some rock chips and dings on the body and the clear coat is peeling in some places but for the most part is looks good. It also runs and drives good. There are no problems and everything works as it should. The air conditioner is cold and the cruise works well. It has a remote start system. The 3.3 V6 runs great and has a lot of power. The transmission shifts great and has no issues. The interior is in good shape for the most part. There are some places that could use a spot cleaning since this car was used to transport my 3 kids for several years. My parents kept it clean inside while they owned it. The van has never been involved in any accidents. As far as a service history goes the front and rear brakes were replaced last year, the front rotors were replaced last year, and the speed sensors for the transmission were replaced while I owned the car. Since I got the car back I had intended on driving it so I had the spark plugs replaced and while they were doing that they replaced the valve cover gaskets that were seeping oil. The sway bar end links were also replaced at the same time (I'm told this is a common failure on these vans). The early transmissions on these vans were notorious for having problems but they were redesigned for the 1999 model year and beyond and this one has been great other than the speed sensor failure but that was an easy fix. The van has been serviced regularly and fluids changed as they should. It has never been abused. The tires are good. They have 60 to 75 percent tread left and it still has the original full-size spare tire that is in good shape. The Blue Book person to person value on this van is $3490. NADA clean retail value is $3650. I'm setting the buy it now at $2800 and the reserve will of course be lower. Please ask questions before bidding. The van is at my home but it currently is not insured or licensed. Also the WV inspection just expired at the first of this month. It will have no issues passing an inspection though. I will need a $200 instant Paypal payment if the buy it now is selected and the van will need to be picked up within 7 days of the auction end. This is a cash only sale. I will not accept any form of check. If you want to pay with a cashier's check you will need to take it to a bank and cash it first. Please make arrangements to see this vehicle before bidding. I want the new owner to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. I am available most evenings and can make arrangements to show the van anytime if needed. The van will need to be picked up at it's current location in Huntington WV. I will be willing to trailer the van within 150 miles of Huntington but that would need to be negotiated before the sale and all payments for transport and the van made in full before the van gets loaded on the trailer. Since it has no current insurance or tags I would not be able to drive it to meet anyone for a hand off. It will have to be towed if I deliver it. Thanks for looking! I checked with my father and he tells me that he can't remember the last time he used it. He thinks it was near the end of last winter. I will try to pick up a new battery for the remote today and try again. Ebay would not let me remove it from the description since there are bids on the car already.
