Hello, Up for sale is my 1999 Ford Contour SVT with 172xxx miles. The color is rare toreador red. Car needs alignment and that is it - drives, shifts and feels excellent. Very well maintained and a lot of maintenance records available. Small bubbling under the side skirts under the back doors, very common for these cars. Only other thing I can think/know of is that the driver's door speaker mesh cover is missing. Those can be found in hundreds in any junk yard, any Contour cover will fit doesn't have to be same year or even SVT but it never bothered me enough to find one. Its just the speaker cover on the door, it doesn't affect anything. Please see attached picture. Alternator replaced in April 2011 and tune up done in May (cables/plugs). Front headlights are brand new and sparkly clear. Tires are good all around, breaks are good, wheels look brand new. No strange noises from engine. Toreador red was made very limited, this is one of 484 ever made in this model/year. Comes with Panasonic CD player. Super cold AC and heat is excellent. Everything on the car works; key-less remote, power windows, doors, seat, cruise, etc...They are extremely rare and amazing cars. The cold air intake gives it really nice deep tone both when starting the car and when accelerating. KBB has SVT with this mileage and year at $2500 in POOR condition! Good is at $3000 and just keeps going up! I would easily put mine between higher "good" and low "excellent" which go for over $4500+. All highway miles. Must pick up locally.
