My brother and I picked up this SS at the 2007 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction. It was shipped in an enclosed truck to Jersey City, New Jersey. It has been garaged ever since. Words really cannot describe how clean this car is. Pictures kind of do, so let's start with those. Here's some info off the Barrett Jackson data sheet: Summary: 454cid V8 with a 4-speed transmission, Cowl Induction, center console and AM/FM radio. Documented with original Build Sheet and 15,696 (now 15,711) actual miles. Details: Documented with the original factory build sheet, only 15,697 (now 15,711) original miles, sold new at Lustine Chevrolet in Hyattsville Maryland. Numbers matching M22 4 speed, 12 bolt positraction rearend, "ZL2" Cowl Induction package. "F41" suspension, power steering, power disc brakes. Factory tachometer and gauges, factory AM/FM, bucket seats with center console, black vinyl top and upholstery, original Rally wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. Finished in GM`s Nevada Silver with black hood and deck stripes. Built at the Baltimore GM assembly plant on September 9th 1970. This is truely a rare find and possibly the lowest mileage SS 454 in existence. Zero feedback bidders must contact me prior to placing a bid.
