This is being listed again because the winning bidder said he just got a DUI the night before the auction ended which was this past Saturday. I offered it to the next highest bidder and received no response so that is why it is listed again on ebay. I have had this car since 1989 and it has been stored since 2001. It has never seen snow! It was stored every winter when I did drive it and it was parked in my Mothers garage since I drove it in there in 2001. The reason that it has not been used in that period of time is because I left the state in 2001 and have just returned. My mother is elderly and is going into an assisted community and I have moved into the house. I do not work on cars so this is a project that I just am not interested in doing and I must clear the garage space for winter so it's time for this to go to a new home. Basically here is everything I can recall that was wrong or that it needs. When I parked it 10 years ago, I had planned on using it the next spring but that never happened so there is probably a small amount of gas in one of the two separate tanks on the car, the tires were stored and just put back on the car to take it out of the garage - the tires were just a year old when it was stored. There was one mechanical problem, it needs an air intake valve or something like that (it sputtered, like a clogged fuel filter but it's not the fuel filter), otherwise, it ran just fine when I parked it. The battery was left in it so that is obviously dead. There are wires hanging down on the passengers side under the dash because at that time I had someone trying to fix my 12 disc CD changer in the trunk. That should not be an issue today with ipods so the wires only need to get stuffed back up. The right rear window switch needs to be replaced (not the motor, just the switch). as far as I remember - that's it! The seats are light tan leather and being 25 years old, they are not in that bad of shape. The front seats are better than the rear because I used to travel with a large dog back then and his nails scratched the seats in the back some. Also, there is a softball size dent on the front left quarter panel and the whole car could use a paint job after 25 years (for the most part it's not bad except for the trunk where my mother set some chemical based product on it while it was stored and the paint on the trunk only is stained. The engine is pretty clean - don't look like there were any leaks. Other than everything listed, this car is just a little bit of work away from being a MINT Collector's Car. It is eligible for collector's plates right now! If you are mechanically inclined then this is the car you have been looking for. I have seen this exact car go for $2,500 recently however that car had 220,000 miles! With features such as dual gas tanks (11.8 gal each), stylish curved hood by the headlights, electric sliding sunroof, burl wood inlay dash trim, professionally tinted windows, and more - they don't make cars like this anymore! This car will sell to the highest bidder so don't miss out on a rare opportunity. That is not true the lien was paid off over 10 years ago. I could not find the original title so I went to the DMV last week and had them issue me a new title which has no lien on it. I have a 100% clear title in my hands. On Oct-02-11 at 11:35:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I had an after market car alarm installed on the car and I did try to see if the car would turn over so I hooked it up to my car battery with jumper cables and it powered up the lights and it was turning over but would not engage. Then I remembered that there is a fuse for the alarm that I took out every year to store the car and so once I tried to put the fuse in, the alarm started going off. The remote fob did not turn it off so I would guess the batteries in the remote are dead so in order to start the car, the alarm would first need to be disengaged. The alarm cuts off the starter or something like that when it is engaged so the first thing to do would be to get batteries for the remote. So anyways, pretty good news for it sitting that long and surprised that the car battery had enough juice to power up the electrical.
