Up for auction is a 2004 BMW GS 1150. The bike is yellow, with black seats and currently has 57,575 miles on it, but will continue to be ridden on short trips until sold. This bike isn't in perfect condition by any means but for the miles it's in great shape. I'm the third owner and have had is since about 48,000 miles, which was April of 2010. Don't let the mileage scare you: this bike is still running strong and has many miles left in it. I wouldn't be afraid to head cross country tomorrow. To the best of my knowledge the bike has never been wrecked, although the guy that had it before me replaced a few parts due to scratches from falling off the stand. Since I've owned this bike I have serviced it myself regularly, and as for the guy I bought it from he was really particular about services. This bike has been ridden the way BMW intended, and it does a wonderful job. It handles all terrain excellently, from dirt, to gravel and even pavement. Even with a passenger this bike is more than capable of going anywhere. There are many extra goodies included with this bike also. They include: BMW hard saddle bags, Mesa soft tail bag, Givi tank bag, Givi windscreen, an extra custom made rear seat, aluminum housed fog lights mounted on the forks, a thermostat for a heated jacket or suit, a kit for the lights so that the turn signals are used as a running light, a flasher kit for the brake light, a set of crash bars and over sized skid plate. This bike also has all the standard equipment that a GS is known for. Anti lock brakes, heated grips, etc. The tires are also still in great shape. The front is new as of April of this year, and it's getting a rear put on this week with only about a thousand miles on it.
