This is a 1976 MG Midget Convertible. I got the vehicle as a partial trade for a newer car. The lady that owned it got it from her father but due to a disabilty was unable to drive it. I thought it was a pretty cool little car but I'm being told I have too many projects so I have to sell. I don't really know much about British cars but this vehicle seems very solid for its age and my initial plans were to restore it and enjoy it. I will start the listing significantly less than what I have tied up in it and the vehicle will sell to the highest bidder with no reserve. I have a clear title available for transfer as soon as full payment is received. I drove this car around town and the engine runs decent. It is loud and may need a little exhaust work. The soft top has a couple of patched holes and a tear in the seam but otherwise is in good shape. The back plastic window is clear and not scratched, the metal hardware for the top is in good condition and the top goes up and down and latches without problems. The clutch is smooth and the transmission makes no noise. All gears engage noiselessly. The engine runs but will benefit from a fresh tuneup. Once started and warmed up it will idle and run well. The temperature gauge does not work well, the other gauges work fine. Lights are all there and work properly. Tripple wipers work normal. Door glass rolls up and down smoothly.
