Vehicle Detail
Please see my 1978 FJ-40 that is open for auction. This is a California car that I bought as the 3rd owner. Great original truck with no rust issues and real joy to drive. No frame off restoration is needed because it’s original. Since it left the west coast it has always been garaged and only used in the summer. This is one that won’t break the bank and you will be happy to use on or off the road or restore to better then new. Recent Upgrades: Oil/filter, all fluids, Plugs, Wires, Distributer cap rotor, Battery, Oil pan gasket, Oil pump, Engine rear main seal, Transmission/Transfer case gone over by shop with new seals gaskets installed, clutch, U-joints, Front wheel hub bearings/seals/grease, Brake pads, Tie rod ends, Brake master cylinder, Alum Radiator, Water pump, Hoses, Carb rebuild, Valve cover gasket, New tires (spare is not new), Extra mirror, Coil Body parts like dash, floor mats, etc are all original and in great shape. Seats were redone from previous owner and work well. Exhaust header also installed by previous owner. Condition Notes: Pictured without the doors which is the way I like to drive it in the summer. See the pictures of the doors and I will install for shipping. There was a black pin stripe that faded and is seen in some of the photos. Doors have been matched and repainted, but the balance of the truck is original paint from factory. White top has been repainted due to brighten it up. Send me a phone number or e-mail and we can discuss any questions. If you are close come see the truck . Terms of sale: $1000, deposit through PayPal 48 hours after auction. Balance due with-in 2 weeks and I will send title after the payment clears and then release the vehicle. Also for sale locally and if sells the auction will end early. Buyer to pick up or arrange shipping. I will help as possible with the process.
