Sometimes you come across a car that you know is right and survived time.My first clue was when i shut the door with minimal effort it closed and latched and with no rattle.When i drove the car it felt solid to the road,steered and braked properly and again with minimal wind noise and rattle. The matching numbers motor started easily and quickly went to a smooth idle.The tranny quickly went into gears and even the kick down worked.Many years ago this car was treated with Ziebart rust protection and seems to have for the most part done it's job.There are some bubbles on the rocker area between the passenger side rear wheel well and door, a little around hood hinges and possible minor work in the trunk.The trunk area could possibly be ok too but it's hard to tell with coating done by Ziebart.Al though it can't be proven I believe the 75,000 on speedometer to be correct.Most parts on car seem to be correct IE: radiator, intake and exhaust manifolds, water pump housing and supposedly the original carb in trunk.(that i'm not sure of) Even the transmission matches the vin.The 83/4 sure grip (323) works well with no noises.All body numbers also match Many years ago somebody painted it Go Mango instead of it's original Hemi orange.The paint is starting to show it's age and is what i would call a 20 footer. It is still very presentable to drive and I would believe it to be very reliable.A lot of the smaller parts and emblems are new (including re chromed bumpers) and other then a dash pad the interior is in nice shape and needs only a few minor things.The vinyl top is in nice condition with no visible bubbles in the center or edges around stainless.This is a very original car that deserves to be freshened up,that in the mean time can be driven and enjoyed.If needed i'm pretty sure it could be driven home.
