1980 PORSCHE 911 SC NEAT DAILY DRIVER! NO OIL DRIPS EVER. Motor Rebuilt at 131000 (see picture of receipt) Features: -POWER MIRRORS WORK -POWER WINDOWS WORK -LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS WORK -WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK -SHIFTS SMOOTH -NEW REAR TIRES -BREAKS GREAT -TARGA TOP IN GOOD SHAPE -SERVICE RECORDS AND MANUAL AND SERVICE BOOK -REBUILT MOTOR AT 131K -CAR RUNS AND DRIVES AS A DAILY DRIVER -The light on the little key even still lights up. (didnt think batteries could last that long, or someone somehow replaced it) -ACTUALLY HAS THE CIGAR LIGHTER STILL IN THE CAR. (not sure ive seen one with them still in there) -START UP WITH ZERO SMOKE EVERY TIME. We are Porsche lovers and were passed down this car thru family. We have no use for this car. We are not the biggest fans of targas either. To us this car is in "OK" shape. Its not a show car, and the cosmetics are not perfect. PLEASE UNDERSTAND this a good running daily driver 911, not a show car. Its not perfect. Its got cracks in dash, no radio(all wiring there tho), piece of leather missing behind rear seats, carpet and seats are medium to good shape and the green turn signal lights on the dash seem to stay on (turn signals work perfect tho, i just know they are suppose to be off). The paint is shiny, but it has two large deep scratches (one on door, and back fender) and a nick in the hood. The AC is there and compressor spins but when ya turn the knob in the car, no fan turns on, so it could be a relay, a fuse, or something more. Its just a basic little SC with wear. Mechanically it runs great tho! Fast with lots of power. We are not trying to sell this to a collector whos looking for that perfect porsche. We are trying to sell it to someone who wouldnt mind a nice looking 911 they can drive on long trips and enjoy or fix up to perfection. Our opinion might be a bit harsh on the car, we just want to make sure people know they are getting a good sc but with things to cosmetic things to take take care of if you want it perfect. The motor amazingly doesnt drip any oil. I think thats the first time we have seen that on a porsche, so that is a decent plus. We also have the original SPORT SEATS that came with the car, but only the passengers is good, the drivers is pretty beat up. Just let us know if ya want them with the car. Upgrade was done years ago)On Oct-05-11 at 16:26:16 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE (PLEASE READ) : - Just brought the car back from porsche garage. They fixed the turn signal issue i mentioned above. (it was the relay) - Per their suggestion, they replaced the front and rear bushings for the shifter as well. Car shifts perfect and REAL tight, im glad they suggested it. (yes, we have the receipt for all work done on it today) - They thought it was a great car and suggest i not get rid of it over such things as cracked dash and couple scratches on paint. But, as we said earlier, it was passed down and we just dont have an interest in targas and would like to get a coupe. - They also found the problem with the AC. It was the knob itself that is burnt out. Simple one hour labor fix they say. But of course after its replaced, it may hold a charged forever, or only 3 months. - Seems like our description we originally typed up top might have been a bit to harsh on the car.
