For sale is my personal 1992 Mercedes 400E with no reserve. Black with Tan leather interior, 4.2 liter DOHC 32 valve VVTi V8, rear wheel drive, power everything, upgraded MP3 stereo with USB port and iPod control, 251k miles, current tags, clean title Strong smooth and fast luxury. This is the last of the million mile Mercedes cars. I own a licensed independent Mercedes repair shop and this has been our family car for the last 7 years. To say it has been impeccably maintained is a huge understatement. When this things cruises on the freeway, you'll understand solid and powerful. There are lots of brand new cars that don't feel this solid. The good: - Freshly rebuilt transmission - Master wiring harness has already been replaced (these are known for their disintegrating wires - no problems here though)- Upgraded headlights to European spec glass units (not the cheap plastic units on all U.S. W124 cars) - S600 style grille - Air conditioner works and blows cold - All power windows work - The sunroof opens and closes normally - Tinted windows all around - Stereo with CD/MP3/iPod control - Operationally perfect -- just easily passed a smog check with flying colors - Dual front air bags - 275 horsepower, 295 lb ft torque - 0-100 in 6.8 seconds (155 mph computer limited top speed) - Many other parts replaced in recent years including: water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, belt tensioner, accessory belt, air pump bearing, flex discs, valve cover gaskets - Good Bridgestone Potenza tires all around - Great daily driver The bad: -One small dent in rear passenger quarter panel - small enough that you can't even easily see it in the pictures -Driver's seat shows significant wear in the leather - all other seats are perfect with no tears This is a true classic that can be driven every day.
