Vehicle Detail

1993 E300 E320 Mercedes AMG, Brembo, BBS body kit, spare motor! Vehicle Description: This car has been in our family since we drove it off the dealer's lot in 1993 and still drives beautifully. I bought it from my Father in-law back in 2004 and have loved it! As you can see the car has a number of upgrades including authentic 17” AMG Mono Block rims (225/45/17 tires), front Brembo Big brakes (334mm rotors), HID Bi-Xenon and a BBS body kit (front air dam and side skirts). You will also note the car has a 1995 hood, trunk lid and rear bumper cover. I prefer the grill and trunk on the later year models and made the switch a few years back. I put a rebuilt Transmission in the car 2 years ago ($3,200). It has just over 26K on it! I bought a used spare 95 M104 motor with 35,000 miles a few years back but have never needed it as the current engine runs strong! However now that I’m selling the car I don’t need the spare engine; it’s included for free in this Auction. A Free Spare engine! A lot of people get 300-400,000 miles on these cars so you might not need the spare engine for a while but if you do you’ve got it. I’m religious about maintenance, especially oil changes which have occurred every 3,000 miles since day one. I rebadged the car E32 Kompressor just for fun. This is a late 1993 E300 with the 3.2L M104 engine. I still have the E300 badge you can have or I have the “0” (zero) you can add to make it E320. (I was in the middle of getting the car ready for a turbo upgrade and have a front mount intercooler already mounted and piped… I’m leaving it on the car for you to use or remove and sell.) CD player with aux input for MP3 player, Boston Acoustics speakers in the front, 12” sub under the rear deck with two amplifiers. You will be impressed with the sound. Has keyless entry with 2 key fobs. HID Bi-Xenon Headlights with Euro style glass housing. The fog lamps are also HID with their own ballast! The visibility at night is unreal. Clear corner lamps up front and Euro style tail lights. Custom Audi style LED day running lamps under the headlights. White Instrument Cluster Gauge conversion. The car has a 3” Stainless Steel High Flow Cat and 3” Stainless resonator with interconnection stainless exhaust piping. Stock muffler with chrome tips. K&N air filter. Vehicle Condition : Pros about this car: -AMG Monoblocks (worth about 700$ alone) -4 New tires with less than 3k mile on them!!! ($650) -Rebuilt Transmission 2009 ($3200) -Brembo Brakes off a 1999 SL500 (priceless upgrade… stops on a dime) -Spare M104 engine with 35K (runs about $850-$1,300 here on Ebay) -New battery 2011 -New windshield 2010 -New Radiator 2008 -New Water pump 2009 -AC Blows ICE Cold!!! Both Aux fans replaced… no leaks -New Shocks and Struts 2010 -New front control arms and wheel bearings (2009) -Great Interior, all windows work, sunroof works, mirrors work -Never involved in an accident… check the carfax -Single family ownership from day one Cons about this car: I list the following in an effort to provide you an honest picture of the car’s condition. I do not believe any of the following items are serious and none affect the car’s performance or reliability. -Front passenger side door has small dent in it, can be pulled with little effort, hard to even see in the photos -Rear passenger side door has a couple of dings in the lower part of the door -Small quarter-sized dent in the hood around the grill -The paint of the 95 hood and trunk lid are a slightly different shade of white than the other body panels. I actually like the two-tone effect it brings over the car. Frequently Asked Questions: Q- “I have a boat, truck, camper, goat, fill-in-the-blank_______… I’d like to trade you for the car are you interested in a trade?” A- No thank you, cash only. Q- “I’ll give you $XXXX for the car now to end the auction early” A- The auction has a Buy-it-now price you can use; otherwise I will let the auction run it’s course and give everyone a fair shot at winning. Q- “Will you ship the car?” A- No, if you want the car shipped you will have to make all the arrangements yourself. With payment in my hand I will turn over the keys to whomever you’d like me to including a shipping company. Q- “If I flew into Atlanta to pick the car up do you think it would be ok to drive it back to ‘Any town’ USA? A- The car is solid; I’d get in it today and drive to Fairbanks, Alaska and only stop for coffee and gas. Q- “Why does the auction include a spare engine? What’s wrong with the current engine?” A- Nothing I know of is wrong with the current engine; keeping the spare engine for a car I no longer own doesn’t make sense. Q- “Will you install the spare motor in the car for me?” A- 1st I’m not sure why you’d pull a running engine and replace it for no reason. 2nd I’m not a mechanic and don’t have the time to spend a Saturday swapping an engine. Keep the spare engine as insurance or sell it yourself. Q- “Will you just sell me the Monoblock wheels and new tires?” A- No. I’ve worked for years getting this car to look like this I’m not going to part it out even if I could make more money that way… A W124 should always wear Monoblocks, taking them off would be a shame.
